We offer convenient, affordable treatment options such as:
PORCELAIN VENEERS
Porcelain Veneers are designed to correct the appearance of chipped, cracked, crooked, or stained teeth. The shape, length, and width of the teeth can be altered with porcelain veneers to better complement the facial features and restore balance and symmetry to the smile.
They can help your teeth to appear WHITER, STRAIGHTER and SHAPED BEAUTIFULLY.
Porcelain veneers are thin shells of porcelain that bond to the front surfaces of teeth. Custom-made for each individual patient, the color of each veneer is closely matched to the patient's teeth. With a semi-translucent, enamel-like quality, porcelain veneers allow light to be absorbed and reflected off the dentin beneath, resulting in bright, luminescent teeth that look completely natural.
Placing porcelain veneers is usually a three-step process that begins with a light buffing of the teeth to eliminate about one half millimeter of enamel. A mold of the patient's mouth will then be made and used to create veneers that fit perfectly to their teeth. During the final phase of treatment, the veneers will be fitted and bonded to the teeth, resulting in a dramatic improvement in the appearance of the patient's smile.
Huntington Bay Dental is pleased to provide two very distinct veneer services that are tailored to meet the needs and schedules of all patients;
CEREC SINGLE DAY VENEERS are beautiful ceramic veneers that can be started and completed in a SINGLE VISIT, without the need for temporaries. The veneers are completed the day you start treatment. The esthetic results are outstanding, and they are the only way to achieve the perfect smile in a single day.
CONVENTIONAL CERAMIC VENEERS are made of the finest techniques and porcelains available. They involve 2 visits, including temporaries between visits, and are the least costly of all veneers. They provide beautiful esthetics, and many years of service.
Each of these processes has their own pros and cons that are specific to each individual case, and the treatment prescribed by our doctors is tailored to each individual case.

ZOOM!® TEETH WHITENING
One of the nation’s most popular teeth-whitening systems, ZOOM!® brightens and whitens teeth by up to ten shades in just under an hour. ZOOM!® is an advanced proprietary system that utilizes a highly specialized gel formula and laser light to transform dull or stained teeth into integral components of a bright and luminescent smile.
During treatment, the patient’s gums, lips, and cheeks are protected while the gel is applied to the teeth. Laser light is then directed at the teeth to activate the whitening gel. Over a period of about 45 minutes, the gel works to lighten teeth that have become discolored due to coffee, tea, nicotine, antibiotics, or simply the effects of aging. While undergoing treatment, patients can relax and listen to CDs on our headsets or watch movies on our overhead monitors. At the end of the treatment session, our professional staff will remove the whitening gel to reveal whiter, brighter teeth and a more radiant smile.
As a less expensive alternative to our in-office teeth whitening, we also offer custom-made teeth-whitening trays for use at home. With take-home trays by ZOOM!®, patients can whiten their teeth on their own time in the comfort and privacy of their own homes.

TOOTH-COLORED FILLINGS
Advances in modern dental materials enable patients to have teeth that are decayed, damaged, or worn repaired with tooth-colored fillings. At Huntington Bay Dental, we can repair teeth and replace old fillings using a natural-looking composite resin closely matched to the color of the patient’s teeth.
Tooth-colored fillings avoid the health risks associated with the mercury that is contained in and sometimes released from metal fillings. For patients who are concerned about these amalgam fillings, tooth-colored fillings provide an excellent solution.
When larger restorations are needed on back teeth, tooth-colored restorations made of strong ceramics are used. These are more compatible with tooth structure, and are stronger than metal fillings. They adhere to teeth tightly, preventing further damage and decay. Since the materials we use are so durable, they can predictably be used to repair back teeth, where pressure from chewing is greatest. Tooth-colored fillings support the remaining tooth structure, help to prevent breaks and cracks, and insulate the tooth from temperature changes that can cause pain in sensitive nerve endings. Therefore, tooth-colored fillings are excellent for repairing teeth while providing the most aesthetically pleasing results possible.
INVISALIGN®
Invisalign® is an alternative to traditional metal braces. Because Invisalign® is nearly undetectable in normal daily interactions, it is an extremely popular orthodontic treatment choice among adults and teens. Huntington Bay Dental’s doctors are certified in Invisalign® treatment and can help patients achieve perfectly aligned teeth with this innovative technique.
Patients undergoing Invisalign® treatment wear clear plastic aligners (similar to mouthguards) that are custom designed using digital computer technology. Each aligner is worn for two weeks and then replaced by a new one until the desired alignment is achieved. Invisalign® patients wear their aligners during the day and throughout the night, only removing them to eat, brush, and floss. Some patients feel minor discomfort at the beginning of each two-week period, but this discomfort is comparable to the discomfort that wearers of braces experience and indicates that the aligners are working.
Invisalign® works gradually over a period of several months to two years to shift teeth into proper alignment. Patients may wear anywhere from 18 to 30 aligners during the course of treatment, depending on their needs. In addition to correcting poorly aligned teeth, Invisalign® can also be used to treat crowded teeth, widely spaced teeth, and overbites.

CEREC® SINGLE-VISIT CROWNS
With CEREC® technology at Huntington Bay Dental, patients can be in and out of the office in a single day with beautifully made, custom porcelain crowns. In comparison to traditional crowns, CEREC® single-visit crowns require patients to undergo fewer injections and to take less time out of their busy schedules.
CEREC® single visit crowns can be manufactured so quickly thanks to advanced computer technology. Using this system, patients can actually view their teeth on a screen while the restorations are being created. An infrared camera captures images of the patient’s mouth and delivers them to a computer, where 3D images enable our doctors to see all aspects of the patient’s teeth. With on-site equipment, we can then create the patient’s all-porcelain crown in about ten minutes.
Dental crowns made with CEREC® technology contain no metals, avoiding possible allergic reactions. They are also more visually attractive. CEREC® crowns are made out of tooth-colored materials – either ceramic or composite resin. They can be used to make onlays (partials crowns), as well as full crowns and porcelain veneers. When used for partial crowns instead of amalgam (metal combined with mercury), we can avoid concerns regarding the health risks associated with mercury, and these restorations feel and look like part of the patient’s natural tooth structure. Moreover, CEREC® restorations chemically bond to teeth and thus can expand and contract with changes in temperature, which prevents cracking and breakage from occurring.
CEREC® SINGLE-VISIT ONLAYS
CEREC® stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. With CEREC® technology, we can protect the chewing surfaces of molar teeth with tooth-colored porcelain onlays in just one office visit. CEREC® single visit onlays actually strengthen teeth, helping them to withstand the pressure that is exerted in the back of the mouth during chewing.
Before CEREC® was available, the process of having onlays and crowns placed took up to several weeks and involved outside labs, temporaries, and numerous dental appointments. CEREC® streamlines the process via digital technology.
Like CEREC® crowns, CEREC® onlays are produced from 3D images created with an infrared camera. From porcelain blocks, the onlay can be crafted to fit the patient’s teeth perfectly in just a few minutes. After it has been created, the onlay is immediately placed onto the patient’s tooth. At Huntington Bay Dental, patients love the convenience, affordability, and beauty of CEREC® single visit onlays.
